Ryan Searle and
Peter Wright lead the highest
averages from the opening
Players Championship double header which as expected gleamed a high standard as the ProTour began.
Searle hit 115.02 during his Quarter-Final win over Krzysztof Ratajski during the first tournament of the season which in the same round also saw Wright's third highest effort of 107.36.
Wright hit 108.09 to finish second on the list with a 6-1 win over Scott Williams but the highest losing average came in fourth as Ian White hit 106.83 and a nine-dart finish but still fell to Mensur Suljovic.
Other names on the list include some of the early pacesetters on the ProTour such as Rob Cross, Joe Cullen, Michael Smith and Boris Krcmar with Jason Lowe finishing the top ten with 105.05.
