Fallon Sherrock was far away from an upset against
Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals of the
New South Wales Darts Masters in Wollongong on Saturday.
The world number one handed the winner of the Women's World Matchplay a 6-0 defeat. Price also recorded a stunning average of almost 110 after hitting two 12-dart legs and one 11-dart leg as well.
''Sometimes you just have to clap when your opponent plays like that'', said Sherrock afterwards on Twitter. ''Gutted I didn’t pinch a couple of legs, but Gezzy was awesome. On to New Zealand now'', added the 28-year-old.
