Sherrock receives present from PDC after historic nine-darter

Fallon Sherrock received a present over the weekend for managing to throw a nine-darter on the PDC Challenge Tour earlier this year. This made her the first woman to record a perfect leg on the PDC circuit.

All darters who throw a nine-darter on the PDC circuit receive a so-called 9-dart pin from the PDC and PDPA (players' union, ed.). This is silver in color if the nine-darter was thrown at a floor tournament. Players who throw a leg in nine darts during a television tournament receive a gold version.

Sherrock produced her nine-darter in March at the ninth tournament of the PDC Challenge Tour. That was in her first round match against Dutchman Marco Verhofstad. The "Queen of the Palace" started the fourth leg of that match with two 180 scores and then threw a 141 finish.
