Smith aiming high after maiden ranking success: "I still think I should be higher in the rankings"

Ross Smith has continued his march towards the top 32 in the PDC rankings after his maiden ranking success earlier this year.

But for Smith, he doesn't want to stop there with 'Smudger' looking next to improve his ranking and reach the heights he believes he should be at.

"I'm very confident but at the same time try and keep my feet on the ground. It's just one tournament and I know if I want to progress, I've got to keep my feet on the ground and just crack on. It's just one win, you look at the top boys they win one after the other and that's what I want to do," said Smith to Online Darts.

"I still think I should be higher in the rankings but then again, that's just down to me. There's no-one else to blame."
