Smith reacts after World Darts Championship classic against Clayton: "That deserved to be the final"

Michael Smith is through to the Quarter-Finals of the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship after a classic win over Jonny Clayton at the Alexandra Palace.
Smith denied Clayton the chance to add to his four TV titles as he searches for his first major glory.
"That deserved to be the final, it was a great game,β said Smith.
βJonny is a class player but, going into the game, I just kept telling myself that Iβve got the game to beat anybody. Iβve always believed that.
βI wonβt be getting carried away. Itβs only one game and I had poor spells. Jonny played so well that he brought a better level out in me.
βIn the past Iβve probably been guilty of wanting it too much so Iβm not making that mistake this year. I will focus on my darts and see how far that attitude can take me.β

It seems nowadays, females presenting on darts have to show skin and be completely clueless, relying on whoever is telling them what to say in their earpiece. I still don't understand how the walk on girls were axed, yet you have scantily clad dancers with pom poms and presenters with see through tops, clearly exposing their bra or showing more leg than that Sharon Stone film. - Have you noticed in honour of the great man ,Richie Burnett that Waitrose have designed their current carrier bags with a bright green W...very reminiscent of the shirt Richie wore in the 90s Never in the history of darts do we need a player to withdraw and provide that safety net for the greatest player in darts.
