Suljovic sets target after Players Championship glory: ‘This year I am World Champion’

Suljovic stated that he will be World Champion at the end of the year.

‘The Gentle’ then went on to laud praise on his opponent Ian White who lost out despite hitting a nine darter and also picked out Daryl Gurney and Gerwyn Price as the best players at the moment.

"This year I am World Champion," said Suljovic.

"This was the best final for me. Ian played brilliant, he hit a nine-darter, he is a brilliant player.

"Everybody is playing brilliant at the moment; Ian, Daryl Gurney, Gerwyn Price and me are the best players at the moment."
