Two players are making their 21st appearance at the UK Open this weekend. They are the only players who have qualified for all editions of the tournament.
James Wade, three-time UK Open winner, belongs to this unique company. Steve Beaton also hasn't missed an edition yet. The Bronzed Adonis recorded his best result in 2004, when he reached the semifinals.
Adrian Lewis is attending the UK Open for the 20th time in a row. The 2014 champion only missed the first edition in 2003.
Can’t see one of these winning it though you never know which Wade will turn up. Would like to see Beaton win it but his tournament form is always hot and cold. Can put in a great performance one round and next he’s just gone.
