With the BDO World Darts Championship not taking place this month due to the organisation’s demise, DartsNews looks back at classic moments and matches throughout January from the showpiece event.
2011 is next up and Martin Adams made it back to back World titles after defeating Dean Winstanley in the final 7-5.
Winstanley was a debutant and made it all the way to the final. Jan Dekker similarly was on debut and made an impression with the formally known as ‘Mr Coat’ losing to Winstanley in the semi-finals.
