THROWBACK VIDEO: Adrian Lewis angrily storms off stage after disagreement with Peter Manley

On Friday, December 15, the 31st edition of the World Darts Championship begins in the PDC. In the run-up to the start of this tournament, Dartsnews.com looks back at beautiful and remarkable events from the history of the World Darts Championship.

Peter Manley in his best days was known as a player who could get under your skin. Adrian Lewis also experienced this at the PDC World Championship in 2006.

'One Dart' managed to win the first two sets without losing a leg. Lewis, who in between was annoyed by Manley getting his darts out of the board very slowly, managed to win the third set. Thanks to a great 160 finish by Manley, the fourth set went to the fifth-placed Englishman.

In set five, at a score of 2-1 in favor of "Jackpot," Lewis was about to throw his darts at the board. However, Manley interrupted his concentration by standing behind his back talking. Lewis thought it was enough with his compatriot's tricks and stormed off the stage.

After a brief delay and a conversation with referee Russ Bray, Lewis decided to return to the stage. However, it did not help the two-time world champion regain his concentration. 'Jackpot' lost the World Championship quarterfinals 5-3. Manley would eventually reach the final, however, it was lost 7-0 to Phil Taylor.
