Van den Bergh leaves manufacturer Unicorn Darts

Dimitri van den Bergh has left manufacturer, Unicorn Darts after a long association with the brand is set to switch to another in the coming week.

"It's the end of an era today, as we officially say a Team Unicorn goodbye to Dimitri Van den Bergh," they wrote on Twitter.

"We would like to thank Dimitri for all of his efforts whilst representing our brand and we wish him all the best for his future darts career and beyond."

Van den Bergh signed his first contract with Unicorn in 2016, which at the time also had his compatriots Kim Huybrechts and Ronny Huybrechts under contract. The Belgian brothers have now also left Unicorn.

It is not yet officially known which supplier Van den Bergh will go to. A presentation is reportedly scheduled for next week.
