Dimitri Van den Bergh is known by fans as an always cheerful and good-humoured person. 'The Dreammaker' has revealed to DAZN that he gets into a mode when he plays.
"It has to be that on the day I play, everything revolves around me. Then I am the centre of attention because I have to clear my head'', the Belgian said.
Van den Bergh then continued on his above answer. ''What I have in my head, that must happen. If someone says to me: 'You can't do that now', tough luck. I have it in my head and it has to happen. Otherwise my head might get a bit nervous."
That doggedness is also evident in his attitude to sport: "That's my lifestyle. Not just playing darts, not just being a professional. No, my whole life is for darts."
