Van den Bergh-Razma and Campbell-Noppert set for semi-finals at Players Championship 12

Dimitri van den Bergh is facing Madars Razma and Matt Campbell taking on Danny Noppert in the semi-finals of Players Championship 12 as the battle for the latest ProTour continues.

Noppert recorded a 6-4 victory over Keane Barry in the last eight. Crucial were the first three legs, which all went to 'The Freeze' with a 14-darter and two 15-darters. Barry still came back to 4-3, but could not make up the second break deficit. With a 13-darter in the tenth leg, Noppert took the win. In the semi-final Noppert will take on Matt Campbell, who eliminated Richard Veenstra 6-5 in the quarter-finals.

Van Gerwen choked against Madars Razma. The Latvian shot out of the starting blocks with a 10-darter to take a 3-0 lead moments later. Van Gerwen narrowed the gap to 4-3, but missed a number of dimes in the ninth leg to stay in the match. With a 20-darter, Razma decided the match 6-3. Dimitri van den Bergh also qualified for the semi-finals. 'The Dreammaker' defeated Boris Krcmar 6-3.
