Ahead of the 2021 Premier League Darts starting, DartsNews takes a look at the top ten averages in the history of the prestigious weekly tournament.
Michael van Gerwen as expected tops the table with his world record televised average of 123.40 against Michael Smith back in 2016 when he defeated Michael Smith 7-1.
This is followed by Peter Wright's brilliance a year later when he saw off Adrian Lewis 7-2 with a 119.50 average.
But as expected Van Gerwen and Phil Taylor dominate the list with the former's next foray coming in at third with 117.95 against Robert Thornton.
Before Taylor comes in with one of five top averages with his highest being 117.35 against Simon Whitlock back in 2012.
Can any player get their name onto the list during this year's Premier League Darts?
