Van Gerwen closing in on most prize money earned in PDC majors

Michael van Gerwen despite not winning the European Championship in the end went towards a major milestone in most prize money in PDC majors.

Van Gerwen currently sits on £3.6m which is compared to £4.4m from Phil Taylor. They are well ahead of everyone else despite that.

Gary Anderson and Adrian Lewis are next up despite that with £1.9m and £1.5m respectively and they are unlikely to get towards that mark.

Rob Cross is slowly approaching the top players in this list after only a short time on the tour with £917,000 after his victory at the European Championship.
