Glen Durrant claimed his maiden PDC major on Thursday evening after winning the Premier League Darts. He thought it was a fantastic performance, but Michael van Gerwen was not really impressed.
"That he played fantastic is of course nonsense", Van Gerwen said on RTL 7. "His semi-final against Anderson was not good and also the final was not great. He threw a few good finishes, but didn't even average 92. When you look to the full Premier League season, he deserved to win this, but now it's been very mediocre. The feeling of the victory probably dominates and of course he has done a great job since joining the PDC.''
''You know what it is. He wants to be appreciated too much'', the world number one continued. ''Such interviews doesn't help, it just looks very fake. He also pays too much attention to his words, how he thinks and talks. Personally, I am more in favor of just saying your thought, but he apparently thinks differently."

- He looks very healthy. I doubt he can run or anything. You need carbs for that. Carbs fuel your brain also. It is the preferred energy source for the brain.
