The playing schedule for the 2024 European Darts Championship has been announced by the PDC. The event will take place from Thursday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund.

The field of participants for this tournament consists of the top-32 of the Euro Tour Order of Merit.

On Thursday night, it's the turn of the top of the bracket. Gian van Veen, along with Ritchie Edhouse, have been given the task of getting the tournament underway. Later in the evening, Gerwyn Price, Gary Anderson, Raymond van Barneveld, Michael van Gerwen, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Michael Smith will also be in action.

The players in the bottom half of the tournament schedule are up on Friday night. Then it is once again a Dutchman who gets to perform in the first match of the evening. Danny Noppert opens the session with a showdown against Joe Cullen. That same evening we will also see Rob Cross, James Wade, Peter Wright, Jermaine Wattimena, Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Mike de Decker on stage.

The remaining 16 players will then compete in the second round on Saturday, followed by the quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon. The denouement of the European Darts Championship is on Sunday night with the semifinals and final.
