James Wade claimed the UK Open title to begin March but all talk following his victory was to do with 'The Machine' not being in this year's Premier League line-up.
Wade spoke to The Darts Show Podcast following his triumph in Milton Keynes and admitted it is nothing new and that on lots of occasions he has been denied a rightful spot in the line-up.
"I'm going to put my neck on the line and say I have been punished so many times and not been in it for some unknown reason, I don't know why," said Wade to The Darts Show podcast.
"I don't think it matters what I do, I've got to rely on a lot of people having a bloody awful time and they have no doubt but to put me in."
"I have been left out of it so many times and I think I have been worthy most of those times to go in.
"But it is has happened to me and if anyone can prove me wrong and say that I'm incorrect by saying that then I'm willing to listen and try and change whatever it is that makes me fit into that circle but I don't think I should have to.
