Wade tops list of players with most nine-dart finishes hit against them

James Wade has always been known as the player to be on the receiving end for nine-dart finishes more often than not despite his old nickname being 009.

This 009 nickname was due to the amount of nine darters he hit to start his career but as revealed by PremiumDartData; he has had the most hit against him.

The current mark is 10 and he is ahead of Raymond van Barneveld by three. Jamie Caven and Wes Newton; who are no longer on the PDC Tour follow them with five each.

The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith and Simon Whitlock; are among those on four to round out the list.
