"Wasn't the best choice, but it did me good" - Van den Bergh feeling refreshed after month without practice

Dimitri Van den Bergh reached the quarter-finals at the past World Series of Darts Finals. However, that was as far as the story went for Belgian as he lost against eventual winner Michael van Gerwen.

Still, satisfaction prevailed for Van den Bergh, who reached a good level after a long rest. "The spring has been a bit much. In August, I wanted to do as well as possible on mental strength and decided not to train for three weeks," the 29-year-old Belgian told HLN.

"I saw that wasn't the best choice, but it did me good. Meanwhile, I did start training again. An hour in the morning and in the evening will suffice for now."

Van den Bergh is therefore rested to enter the busy fall season. "I just feel good through my vacation and there are jitters to get back on stage," concludes 'The Dreammaker'.
