"When I bring my A Game they can look out" - Gerwyn Price still looking for more despite reaching World Grand Prix final

Gerwyn Price has reached the final of the World Grand Prix yet again. 'The Iceman' was too strong for Michael Smith in the semi-finals, 4-2.

However, things did not go smoothly for Price. "I was very frustrated. It was 2-1 down, backs against the wall but I came back fighting," said the 38-year-old Welshman. "It was a very difficult game but one that I'm glad I stuck to my guns and came through it."

"I'm defending a lot of ranking points so I want to do well in this tournament to ease the pressure in the tournaments that are coming up," Price continued. "If I go on and win my next game, win this tournament, then yeah lots of pressure off towards the back end of the year. I can just relax."

Price will take on Luke Humphries in the final. "It's going to be a tough game, but hopefully I can put a little bit more pressure on than I did today," Price assesses. "When I bring my A Game they can look out."
