Michael van Gerwen once again announced himself with a statement display against Dimitri van den Bergh which saw the World Number Three average 110.
But will he find that consistency on Night 11 against Jonny Clayton who is a familiar adversary who has got the better of the Green Machine in recent times.
He has form with producing a poor display after a phenomenal one with 110 on Night One followed by 92. On Night Three, it was a statement of 107.58 before he hit a 90.91 average the following night.
This was followed up with under par displays in 99.71, 87.63 and 98.25 before raising his level to 104.72 once more. The second of which was his lowest ever in the Premier League.
But again on the final night before the break it was 91.01. Will he truly be back with the consistency we have known during his dominance or will this trend continue.
