Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen will be the top names by some distance involved at Players Championship 7 and 8 in a depleted field in Niedernhausen.
The main names choosing not to travel include Gary Anderson, Jonny Clayton, Joe Cullen and World Number One, Peter Wright.
There are 19 in all, 20 including Sunday where Dimitri van den Bergh is replaced by Jacques Labre who have withdrawn from proceedings this weekend which in turn has lead to golden opportunities for Challenge Tour players.
As a result, Leighton Bennett, Matthew Edgar, Colin Osborne, Thibault Tricole and the usual contingent including leader, Scott Williams are involved in Germany and with a depleted field could lead to first time winners.
