Peter Wright is still looking for improvement despite easing past Nathan Aspinall posting the highest average of the 2020 Premier League season in the process as the darting roadshow hit Exeter.

Wright hit a 110.00 average to see off Aspinall in a 7-3 win as he looks this weekend to claim three TV tournaments back-to-back in a happy hunting ground for him in the UK Open - the site of his first major triumph.
Down the road in Exeter he gave us a glimpse of that form he has been showing away from the TV as he went 3-1 up in the early going before pulling away from 4-3 to defeat 'The Asp' - who himself will look to pick himself up ahead of his title defence in Minehead.
"This was a lot better than last week and I got the win, which was what mattered the most," said Wright. "I'm really happy with the performance but I still feel there's more to come.
"I knew it was going to be a tough game because of how well Nathan's been playing. He had a nine-darter against me the last time we played so I was very nervous tonight.
"I still missed too many doubles and need to brush up on that."
