Peter Wright breezed past
Glen Durrant 7-1 to confirm his
Premier League Darts survival and relegate Rob Cross in the process.
Wright like many others was saddened to see Durrantβs darting woes and that came at the forefront instead of his survival.
βIβve been told Iβm safe so thatβs a lot of pressure off tomorrowβs game. That was really hard playing Glen, heβs a fantastic player and to see him struggling like that,β said Wright to Sky Sports.
βI thought he was going to come back tonight because I watched his last two games and you see glimpses of the old Glen thatβs coming back.β
He also spoke about tinkering with his darts admitting he does need to settle on one set.
βIβve just got to learn to stick to one set of darts, obviously those arenβt the ones hopefully one day Iβll find a set of darts.β
