Wright sets sights on winning World Series return: "It's my aim to be the first Nordic Darts Masters champion"

Peter Wright has been in a rich vein of form as of late winning the World Matchplay and the World Cup of Darts this past weekend and he will now set his sights on the Nordic Darts Masters.

This ahead of a busy run of tournaments which takes in the conclusion of the European Tour, World Grand Prix European Championship and Grand Slam of Darts among others.

But for 'Snakebite', he is looking forward to returning to Denmark this weekend and wants to become the first champion.

"I'm feeling great after the World Cup and it's my aim to be the first Nordic Darts Masters champion," said Wright.

"We've played in Denmark a couple of times on the European Tour and the crowds were brilliant - I loved it and I'm sure it will be great this weekend.

"It's a region which has really grown in recent years and they've got some fantastic players there now too."
