Peter Wright produced a demolition win on Night 13 of the Premier League seeing off Michael van Gerwen in a terrific display which highlighted an out of sorts World Number One.
Van Gerwen hasn't had the greatest of restarts with only victories coming against Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall; and as a result sits fifth and in danger of not making the end of season play-offs as defending champion.
Wright admitted he was waiting throughout for a return to form for his rival; but it just didn't happen and offered help to him while he seemingly goes through a slump in form.
"Happy with the win but I wasn't happy the way I played. I thought the game was around an 80 odd average seriously, that's the way I felt. I was waiting for Michael to kick in playing the darts he normally does," said Wright during his post match press conference.
"I took advantage of a Michael van Gerwen nowhere near his best game, he'll be alright, he'll be back tomorrow; he'll have his head on and he's got a job to do tomorrow even though he had a job to do today."
"I can help you out Michael. So if you wanna come talk to me, then come talk to me."
