VIDEO: Van Gerwen catches huge fish of 280 kg on Gran Canaria

While most of his darting colleagues were playing in Wigan last weekend, Michael van Gerwen enjoys a holiday on Gran Canaria.
The world number one practiced one of his hobbies on the Spanish island: sport fishing. With success, because Van Gerwen reported on Instagram that he caught a marlin for the very first time.
Mighty Mike said the fish weighed around 280 kg. He released the marlin in the water after he catched him. The 30-year-old shared a video and some pictures on his social media.
