Raman proving doubters wrong at Lakeside: "I've not even been one of the favourites to win this, it's crazy"

Brian Raman is through to the fourth round at 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship after a stunning display in double quick time as he saw off Jarred Cole and is glad to continue proving doubters wrong.

"I really enjoyed everything on that stage. The crowd was really cheering on Jarred (Cole) and I feed off that it was brilliant," said Raman to Tungsten Tales.

"I've not even been one of the favourites to win this, it's crazy being number one seed and getting your Tour Card in January and there are a lot of people outside that are saying if you don't win this, you're not a World Champion. It's not the same as it was previously but it's still a World title."

"There are always people criticising, it's tough to be people's favourites but I don't really care what people think."
