Warren-Shewan clash at 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship set to be played on Wednesday evening due to production failure

Wayne Warren's clash with Lee Shewan won't take place on Tuesday evening at the 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship due to a production failure which hampered the coverage of the match between Jules van Dongen and Ryan de Vreede in particular.

The Eurosport stream went down multiple times during tonight's evening session and the decision was made to move the match as a result due to the failure not being resolved in time to show the match live on television. This has been confirmed in a statement released by the WDF.

"Following the conclusion of the match between Ryan de Vreede and Jules van Dongen, the decision has been made to postpone the match between Wayne Warren and Lee Shewan until tomorrow evening (6th April) due to a production technical failure meaning that the game would not have been live on television. The match will be played in the evening session.
