As a preview to the Perth Darts Masters this weekend we're taking a look back at the rest of the World Series events to have been played so far this season.

Despite the fact it is played outside, Dubai has the highest tournament average so far by some distance. The event, which is played at the open-aired Dubai duty free tennis stadium only invites a select 8 PDC pros. With all due respect to the qualifiers of the other events, a few have thrown low 80's in there world series appearances which brings the tournament average down.
In true contradictory style, Auckland is second on the list. The 4th World Series event, played just 2 weeks ago, saw Kyle Anderson and Corey Cadby emerge from the un-seeded ranks to make the final. However, as a full time PDC pro himself Kyle Anderson is no stranger to 95+ averages, and Cadby produced 2 100+'s the year before.
Melbourne has seen the lowest tournament average so far this year. With the final 4 all seeded players, it would have been expected to give the overall average a boost. However, missed doubles seemed to be the theme of the weekend at the Hisense Arena, and the self proclaimed capital city of sport for the world will be a little disappointed with its unwanted stat.
