Anderson set a benchmark with the fourth best Grand Slam average in history. Also ‘The Flying Scotsman’ hit seven 180’s and 71% on the doubles along the way to a brilliant victory.
Michael van Gerwen averaged 108 but still lost in a last leg decider to a brilliant Jonny Clayton. The Welshman averaged 103.60 and 63% on the doubles along the way.
