Anderson started off the game by setting the trend for the match by hitting a nine darter. From there we were treated to a spectacle where Cullen went 12-10 up only to be pegged back and he also hit a 170 along the way.
It went to sudden death after Cullen missed darts to win the match including one at double 9 where a fly got in his eyeline when he was throwing.
Anderson cleaned up in a match that was exciting till the end and deserved a last leg shootout. Friday will see the final semi-final lineup confirmed and if tonight is anything to go by they have a tough act to follow.
