Ashton claims LDO Swedish Classic title

Ashton in doing so claimed her seventh title of the year including the World Championship. On the way, ‘The Lancashire Rose’ defeated Fallon Sherrock, Trina Gulliver and Kaisu Rekinen.
This meant it was a tough route through capped off in a close final only for Rekinen to miss eight match darts.
There were runs also for the likes of Deta Hedman, Lorraine Winstanley and Aileen de Graaf.
Hedman and Winstanley in particular will be hoping to play themselves into some form after announcing their intention to play in the PDC World Championship Ladies Qualifier.
