Aspinall after smashing Viljanen in Sindelfingen: ‘I felt really relaxed’

Nathan Aspinall smashed Kim Viljanen in one of the best performances on day one of action at the European Darts Grand Prix.

Aspinall spoke afterwards and admitted that he felt really relaxed. He added about his clash with Max Hopp that they’ve got history and that it’d be nice to beat him in his own country. "I had a tough first game but I settled in from the start and played well," said Aspinall. "I felt really relaxed. "I've got some history with Max, obviously he beat me in the youth final so it would be nice to get one back on him in his home country. If I play my game, I'll win." for more information about the PDC European Tour, including the format, calendar and the prize fund breakdown.
