Boris Koltsov becomes first Russian player to win event on PDC Challenge Tour

Boris Koltsov has won the last PDC Challenge Tour event of the weekend as he defeated Dave Prins 5-4 in the final. He became the first Russian winner on the PDC's secondary tour.

The final saw the opening six legs shared before Koltsov secured a break to lead 4-3. Prins broke back to force a decider, but Koltsov returned on 12 to claim the £2,000 top prize.
Players who finish in high positions on the Order of Merit will gain positions in PDC Players Championship events.
This is when the 128 player field cannot be made up and as well as that Tour Cards and World Championship spots are up for grabs.
