The seeds have been taking shape for the next round of European Tour events that the fields have not been determined for in the form of Maastricht and Riesa. Stephen Bunting will edge Mervyn King for the final seeding if Gary Anderson withdraws.
Adrian Lewis as alluded to previously will take seeding for the next European Tour events due to his resurgence in form and him and James Wade who have previously had to qualify for the events this year will join Bunting in the seeds.
Max Hopp will as well with the German number one winning his first title this year and as a result will not have to come through the European Qualifiers for the next round of events.
Gerwyn Price might give Mervyn King a lifeline seed wise with the Iceman having an operation after the World Matchplay. As a result he might not play in these events and as a result, Bunting could avoid Van Gerwen and King could get a seeding.
