Dave Chisnall continued his brilliant form with a thrilling win over Arron Monk; also Kim Huybrechts and Ritchie Edhouse produced stunning deciding leg victories to end the afternoon session on day two at the German Darts Grand Prix.

Chisnall was facing Monk who has been resurgent as of late and despite a 6-3 defeat, Monk averaged 103. ‘Chizzy’ though was just too good averaging 109 and hitting five 180’s to send a message to those involved this weekend. Huybrechts was facing James Wade who would have been expecting to win considering his form as of late. It was nearly The Machine continuing this but he missed a match dart and this allowed his opponent to come back and win it with a clutch 70 finish. Similarly Edhouse also claimed a shock win against Adrian Lewis with this tie also going to a final leg. ‘Madhouse’ pinned a 160 checkout though in the decider to claim a big victory to end the session.
