Cross set to become World Number Two unless Wright reaches semi-finals in Minehead

Rob Cross is set to become World Number Two ahead of the World Championships potentially it has been revealed by darts statistician Christopher Kempf also known as Ochepedia.

Cross who will go into the World Championship in this ranking position; this is unless the current World Number Two, Peter Wright gets to the semi-finals or better at the Players Championship Finals.
This is mainly due to 'Snakebite' defending more money than Cross; who only joined the tour at the start of last year.
As a result it could have ramifications on routes through for these two players at the Alexandra Palace; so there will be extra emphasis on Wright to step up to the mark at Minehead.
