Dimitri van den Bergh dedicated his nine-dart finish to his girlfriend Chloe. 'The Dreammaker' landed a nine-dart finish on Wednesday evening during the second round of the Grand Slam of Darts.

His girlfriend underwent a heart transplant three weeks ago, afterwards the 25-year-old lady was in a coma for one week. On the day Van den Bergh stepped into the airplane to travel to Vienna for the World Series of Darts Finals, the Belgian received a message that she had awakened from her coma.
''A minute before I started boarding, she woke up. I received a message from her brother that she was awake. I had a big smile on my face during the flight'', the World Youth Champion reveals to RTL 7.
''When she was in a coma, I tried to practice as much as possible, to make her proud as soon as she was awake. Since then, my practice sessions are paying off, Chloe makes me ten times stronger. We are in love, we call of text sometimes six hours a day.''
''It does not matter where I am, she sends me messages all the time. I am glad that I can perform now and that she can watch that on television. Hopefully, when the doctors give permission, she can go to the events with me.''
