Joe Cullen has voiced his displeasure on the entry criteria for the PDC Grand Slam of Darts.

Speaking during the Players Championship Finals, the Bradford ace discussed the tournament that had preceded it. Cullen had missed out on reaching the Grand Slam, eventually won by Gerwyn Price, and the PDC world number 14 didn't hide his disappointment.
"I'd have liked to have been in the Grand Slam," Cullen told Live Darts.
"I think the criteria needs to be looked. I think it was five of the top 16 that was missing."
Along with Cullen, Daryl Gurney, Dave Chisnall, Darren Webster and Adrian Lewis all missed out.
"In my opinion, that was the weakest Grand Slam field that we've had so far," added the Rockstar.
"It may be controversial, but that's how I see it. I'm not saying it would've been better with me in it, but some of the form horses were missing this year."
That said, Cullen did appreciate that he and his fellow omitted stars had spurned plenty of chances to make it to Wolverhampton.
"We knew the criteria before it started, at the beginning of the year. So we've got to take it on the chin and move on."
