Daryl Gurney cruises into Quarter-Finals with victory over James Wade

Daryl Gurney kicked off the night by continuing his brilliant year which has seen him ascend the PDC rankings. The now World Number 4 who has ascended from the world's top 20 towards the start of the year smashed last year's finalist James Wade 10-2 in a dominant display by the man known as 'Superchin'.
Northern Irelands' Number 1 averaged 94.6 and hit seven 180's with Wade averaging 90 but while Gurney is on the up it seems like Wade still has a bit of a way to go before he is once again back to top form which he has showed in the past few months at times. For Gurney he maintains his run of having reached at least the Quarter-Finals of every major televised ranking event this year which shows how good he is.
