Gary Anderson has confirmed that he will be back at the UK Open - but is unsure how he will perform.

Due to chronic back issues, the Scot has not yet played a competitive game in 2019. He dropped out of the Masters before withdrawing from the Premier League. It has been confirmed that Anderson will make his return at the UK Open. The Flying Scotsman, who won the title in Minehead a year ago, will start his defence in the fourth round.
Speaking to playwiththebest.com, Anderson admitted that it could go either way in the first major of the year.
“To be honest, I’ve missed the competition," the two-time world champion said.
"I have no idea how I will go this weekend because I haven’t thrown much at all. It has all been about getting the best possible treatment to give me the best possible chance.”
Ian White will act as Anderson's sparring partner as he gears up for the event.
