Wayne Mardle has given his thoughts recently on the World Cup of Darts and who in his estimations are teams to look out for at the next event on the calendar which takes place next week.

For Mardle he believes that Phillipines are massively underrated and can do a job on England. He especially gave high praise for Lourence Ilagan and said that he is only not spoke about due to his past experience. 'Hawaii 501' gave his winner as well and said that for him it is Scotland's to win if they can perform under pressure. 'I think the Philippines are massively underestimated and then they ended up drawing England. I am going to stick to it because they are 7/1. Lourence Ilagan and Noel Malicdem, they are quality operators.' said Mardle to . 'Lourence Ilagan has got one of the best actions, his technique is fantastic. It's one of the best in World Darts, because he hasn't won a World's or been in the World Matchplay or made his name on the World stage people think I'm talking nonsense. If they lose 5-o I probably am.' 'I think England are up against it. They've got to fancy going on and winning the whole thing because they are that good.' 'With Barney now not in Team Netherlands with Jermaine Wattimena with Michael Van Gerwen, they are vulnerable which opens it up for Peter Wright and Gary Anderson.' 'This is their (Scotland)'s chance, the England team is a strong team, the Dutch team has never been so weak. The Scottish team are the same World Class pairing, it's theirs if they can perform under the cosh which they've got to do which they haven't done in previous years. I think they go on and win it.'
