The race to the World Grand Prix is hotting up with only a few months to go until the cutoff for the double start event in Dublin with Raymond van Barneveld putting himself into real contention.

Van Barneveld is up to 20th and with a few more runs both in the ProTour and European Tour could find himself making a final appearance in the tournament.
Mervyn King and Vincent van der Voort have also found themselves putting themselves further into the ProTour Order of Merit spots.
Ross Smith and Harry Ward are just behind the top 16 and with both in form could find themselves in World Grand Prix spots with a few more good runs.
