The World Cup of Darts 2019 will take place from 6-9 June in Hamburg. Dartsnews introduces the competing nations ahead of the start of the event.

We are paying attention to Australia and Northern Ireland, two of the seeded teams in Germany. Both nations have been part of the World Cup of Darts since the inaugural event in 2010.

Australia

The Australians are one of the top performers at the World Cup of Darts. They never lost in the first round, while they reached the semi-finals three times and the final once.
Simon Whitlock is one of the ever present players at the World Cup. He played with Paul Nicholson from 2010 till 2015, while Kyle Anderson joined 'The Wizard' in 2016. They came to the last four last year, where the Aussies lost to Scotland.

Gurney and Dolan reached the semi-finals in 2016. The two most recent editions were less successful with defeats in the first and second round.
