Price withdraws from German Darts Grand Prix, Noppert becomes seeded player for first time on European Tour

Gerwyn Price has withdrawn from the German Darts Grand Prix which is set to begin on Saturday and end on Easter Monday.
This may be due to the hectic schedule of the Premier League; also with Price not in any danger seeding wise, he may have taken the weekend off for that reason.
He will now be replaced by Danny Noppert in the seeded positions; with ‘Noppie’ becoming a seed for the first time on the European Tour.
The Dutchman who has impressed in spells since moving over to the PDC will look to show that when he enters into proceedings on Sunday night.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. It is quite pathetic and desperate the way Bunting and Arsepinall pander to the crowd to dance to their walk on music, that has worked though. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
