Results Players Championship 13, Last 128: Wright, Smith & Chisnall out as seeds tumble in Wigan

They include Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, Dave Chisnall & Michael Smith who were some of the favourites for today’s £10,000 Players Championship title.
Wright lost to Terry Jenkins in a quality game where both men averaged over the 100 mark throughout but it was the Ledbury ace who got over the line,
Lewis was beaten 6-3 by Gary Eastwood who hasn’t had the best start to life on the PDC tour. Chisnall was beaten in a last leg decider by a winner on the Players Championship series this year, Mickey Mansell.
Michael Smith finally was smashed 6-1 by Mark Wilson. It will now be up to the likes of Rob Cross, Daryl Gurney and James Wade who remain in to make a charge for the title. Or will we see another new winner??
