The action continued in the second iteration of the Remote Darts League into the third night with Tony O'Shea and Lorraine Winstanley among the players involved on Wednesday night.
O'Shea automatically got an invite to the second edition; after reaching the semi-finals alongside first winner James Richardson, Jim Williams and Paul Hogan and so will hope for similar form this time around with both 'Ruthless' and 'Crocodile Dundee' starting with three wins.
Winstanley is one of four Ladies taking part and after Laura Turner starred last night; with victory over Darren Herewini, the former World Master will hope for similar form coming into tonight as the player with the highest pedigree out of the four.
Also involved tonight include French standout
Thibault Tricole. Impressing at the BDO World Championship at the start of the year and being one of the highest ranked in the WDF; he will hope to have 'The French Touch' tonight.
Finally the line-up will be concluded with the experienced Australian,
Justin Thompson in one of the toughest nights to call so far.
In the first phase of the
Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
