Michael van Gerwen smashed Kyle Anderson with a 10-3 victory as he eased through to a double Dutch Quarter-Final clash with Raymond van Barneveld at the Brisbane Darts Masters.

Van Gerwen spoke afterwards and admitted once he went 5-0 up the damage was done and that in truth he wasn’t given a game by Anderson. Also he said he has to work harder against Barney but if he does he will be champion on Sunday.
“I started well and once I was 5-0 up the damage was already done, he wasn’t able to do anything special in the game and it was a very comfortable win for me,” said the two-time World Champion after the victory.
“He didn’t really give me a game tonight so it’s hard to take much from the match. I know I need to be much better against Raymond tomorrow but if I play my best game I will have the trophy at the end of the night,” summed up a bullish MVG.
