Richard Veenstra is likely to stay in the BDO after his fourth Lakeside appearance. Due to removing the restriction rules, a lot of players from the British Darts Organisation are expected to play at the PDC Q-School in January.

Danny Noppert made the switch to the Professional Darts Corporation in January this year, but Veenstra is probably not following the example of his compatriot. ''It's a bit difficult. If you play in the PDC, you are away from home about forty weekends year. That's difficult to combine with a busy family'', he told H. For now, his ambitions lie within the BDO, where he hopes to win the Lakeside Championship. ''Of course, Lakeside is the big goal. I will play there for the fourth time in January and hopefully I will win it one time.''
